Fun Day and Air Show

London City Airport’s 13th annual Fun Day and Air Show takes place on 4 July 2009.  Offering free entry to visitors, the afternoon is filled with exciting activities for the entire family.

The airport is located in the Royal Docks part of the London Borough of Newham, just two miles from the site of the 2012 Olympic Games. In keeping with the airport’s long term focus on promoting health and well-being in the community, this year’s Fun Day has a sporting theme with the opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to celebrate the Olympics and Paralympics coming to London

Fun Day offers a unique and fun day out for Londoners of all ages, whilst raising much-needed funds for Richard House Children’s Hospice - a charity dedicated to local life-limited children and young adults.
